Imran Khan was probably the most dashing cricketer of his time. And Zeenat Aman was then Bollywood’s reigning siren. When the two met sparks were bound to fly and boy did they!

The two superstars were locked in an affair that people on either side of the border thought would result in a marriage. Sadly, for reasons best known to Imran and Zeenat, it was not to be.

Imran’s name would go on to be linked with many other famous names before his eventual marriage and divorce from the English heiress Jemima Goldsmith.

Zeenat, meanwhile, went on to marry Pakistan actor Mazhar Khan, who passed away in 1998
